RADFORD – Glencoe Mansion is celebrating the season with two great holiday events.

The first is the Glencoe Mansion Holiday Open House tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 11, 5 – 6:30 p.m.

And just a couple days later will be the annual Handcrafted Holiday Market, Saturday, Dec. 13, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Both events are open to the public and free to attend.

The Holiday Open House will give visitors the opportunity to experience the 2025 holiday decorations at night when they truly sparkle. The display is themed, “A Celebration of Light,” which pays homage to the 150th anniversary of Glencoe and the light and joy of the season. There will be light refreshments and cider served.

The Handcrafted Holiday Market features one-of-a-kind and high-quality handcrafted works by over 20 local artisans. From cold pressed soaps to letterpress paper goods and modern takes on colorful jewelry and natural wreaths, the market boasts a wide variety of items and styles. Whether you’re just starting or finishing up your holiday shopping, you are sure to find vendors who have those thoughtful, heartfelt gifts. While shopping at the market, visitors can get even more into the spirit by stepping inside the Glencoe Mansion to see the holiday decorations. There will be cider provided. In case of inclement weather, the rain date for the Handcrafted Holiday Market will be Dec. 14.

Glencoe Mansion is also home to the Glencoe Gift Shop, featuring a wide variety of items perfect for gifting this holiday season. The museum will also feature works by local artists in its gallery space for even more great holiday gift-giving ideas.

The holiday decorations, “A Celebration of Light,” will be on display through the end of January.
