Head coach Pete D’Amour has announced the 2026 Virginia Tech softball schedule.

The Hokies will face 13 teams that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

This season, the Hokies are set to play 13 games at Tech Softball Park. They welcome four teams for conference play: N.C. State (March 20-22), Clemson (April 2-4), Georgia Tech (April 17-19), and North Carolina (April 24-26).

Tech starts the season on the road at five consecutive tournaments. They begin with five games at the Gamecock Invitational, featuring matchups against South Carolina, Binghamton and Winthrop (Feb. 5-7). The following weekend, the Hokies travel to participate in the Queen City Classic in Charlotte (Feb. 13-15), where the team will play Villanova, Michigan State and Charlotte over the course of five games.

Tech continues their non-conference slate at the Georgia Classic (Feb. 20-22) with matchups against Seton Hall, Utah State and Georgia. The Hokies then travel to Auburn, where they play five games (Feb. 27-March 1) against USC Upstate, Auburn and Troy.

Virginia Tech returns to the Commonwealth for their last tournament of the season, the Hokie Invite (March 5-8) in Salem, Va., where the Hokies face off against Michigan, Bryant, James Madison and Radford.

Tech travels to Elon with a midweek game on March 11 before beginning ACC play on the road, traveling to Durham, NC., to take on Duke (March 13-15).

The Hokies take on Longwood in a midweek doubleheader (March 18) before they play their home opener host N.C. State (March 20-22). Next, they hit the road for a series at Boston College (March 27-29) before returning to Blacksburg to host Clemson (April 2-4).

Another matchup against Radford (April 7) provides a brief break from ACC play before traveling for a conference series at Virginia (April 10-12).

Virginia Tech hosts Georgia Tech for a series from April 17-19, sandwiched between home-and-home midweek matchups with Liberty (April 15 and April 22) — their last non-conference games of the season.

The Hokies host a series against North Carolina (April 24-26) before making a final trip to play an ACC series with Syracuse from May 1-3.

The ACC Championship will take place May 6-9 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Tech is fresh off its third 40-win season in the past four years. In 2024, the Hokies advanced to their sixth straight NCAA Regional and landed seven on the All-ACC team.
