
The Blacksburg Turkey Trot brings the perfect mix of fun and fitness on Thanksgiving morning for runners of all ages.
This year, more than 1400 runners and walkers participated in the event, on a cold but sunny Thanksgiving morning.
The 5k course is designed with all skill levels of walkers and runners in mind, making it ideal for first timers and veteran runners alike. The Turkey Trot is a professionally timed event and encourages Thanksgiving-themed running gear. The Gobble Gobble Kids Dash is held prior to the start of the Blacksburg Turkey Trot.
