William “Bill” Vinion passed away in his home Sept. 20, 2025, after a long illness. Born April 30, 1939, he was raised in Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Virginia, settling in the Radford area in 1980. He was an active member of Central Church and was known as a housepainter and a ‘painfully honest’ man who could talk with anyone.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Cindy Vinion.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nora; daughters Beverly (Bobby) Burleson and Arlene (Bob) Dubiel; four grandchildren Sarah and Aaron (Leanne) Burleson and Helena and Alice Dubiel; and three great grandchildren with a fourth on the way.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at Central Church in Radford.
The Vinion family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
