On June 9 the Radford community welcomed Tapestry Massage & Yoga and Wildwood Apothecary to Radford’s West End with a ribbon cutting!
Business owners Cassandra Kessman and Brittany Kaseoru have created a collaborative studio offering yoga, massage therapy, bulk herbs, and informative workshops. They also make use of the courtyard attached, offering outdoor classes.
The community is invited to check out their upcoming Herb Hour on the lemon balm plant Saturday July 22 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and another workshop on oats July 29th. These workshops are $20, packed with information, and include tastings. Women are also invited to join the Wild Women Circle on Monday June 26 7:00pm-9:00 p.m. This circle celebrates the Intuition Moon through community, creativity, movement, and meditation. The Wild Women Circle project also happens once a month around the new moon time.
Kaseoru says, “This space is really calling to be a part of the community and our vision is to facilitate an environment for our friends and neighbors to receive education and opportunities that empower and uplift.”
