This eight-room brick school was built in 1907 on East Main Street in Christiansburg. It served as Christiansburg High School until about 1921 when a new building was built on Junkin Street. This building then became the grammar school. The building and students of all ages are shown here c. 1907-1908. (This photo is from the D. D. Lester Collection. This image and many more are available from the Montgomery Museum & Lewis Miller Regional Art Center.)
